A UC Master Gardener will cover herb growth requirements, choices depending on your microclimate, and container herbs. UC Master Food Preservers will discuss harvesting and how to air-dry or dehydrator-dry herbs along with freezing herbs and storing in the refrigerator.
UC Master Gardeners will present on growing citrus and avocado trees for home gardens. The workshop will cover the unique features of different varieties of avocados. Care of these crops and common pest and disease problems seen by growers will also be discussed.
